GRand Knights Letter February 2020

Dear Brother Knights, Ladies and Families,

This month’s newsletter is full of program reports. It is always nice to hear what our council is doing to assist our parish, faith and community. Another of these programs is RSVP. This is the program that provides financial assistance to seminarians in our diocese. One of the ways we do this is our Annual Vocations Breakfast. This year’s breakfast will be held in the Parish Hall on February 23 from 8:00 am – Noon. Please come and enjoy breakfast while helping our seminarians.

Next, I would like to thank our long time chair couple of our Youth Christmas Party. They were assisted by Alice Bengel, Russ Bengel and Nate Thelen. They had another large crowd this year with 48 children and 10 adults enjoying the festivities, Great job!

And lady, but certainly not least, is our council’s heartfelt thanks to Gary Shafer for running our Charity Fund Raffle for 15 years. He is stepping down from this important role but is willing to assist whoever takes it over next year for a smooth transition. Please consider helping the council continue this important fundraiser by volunteering to chair this program. Please contact myself or PGK Shafer if this program is something that you would like to help. Thanks Gary!

Fraternally Yours,

//Paul Smith, Grand Knight//
